The Luffenham Heath Golf Club Care of the Course

Bunkers
Before leaving a bunker, a player should carefully fill up and smooth over all holes and footprints.

Restore Divots, Repair Ball-Marks and Damage by Spikes
Through the green, a player should ensure that any turf cut or displaced is replaced at once and pressed down, and that any damage to the putting green made by the ball is carefully repaired.  Damage to the putting green caused by golf shoe spikes should be repaired on completion of the hole.

Damage to Greens
Players should ensure no damage is caused to the putting surface, particularly when attending the flagstick.

Golf Trolleys
Notices regulating the movement of trolleys should by strictly observed, especially if white lines are in operation.  No trolleys on tees or green surrounds please.

Ride on Buggies
The course is unsuitable for buggies.  Their use is only allowed by prior agreement and with the authorisation of the committee.

Damage Through Practice Swings
In taking practice swings players should avoid causing damage to the course, particularly the tees, by removing divots.
